Aim of the Conference:
The conference is organized by the Hacettepe University, Faculty of
Economics and Administrative Sciences. The objective of this conference is
to bring together academics and practitioners from all over the world to
focus on timely credit risk issues. Papers from international/domestic
rating institutions, universities, banks, government institutions,
representatives of SME’s, audit and regulatory organizations for the purpose
of measuring credit risks of SME’s and consumers in both developed and
developing countries are welcome. Topics of discussion will be, among
others:
Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Credit Rating, Risk
Management, Financial Regulation, Financial Markets, Future and Option
Markets, Financial Risk, Basel I and II Accord, Consumer Credits, Credit
Rating and Scoring, Asset Liability Management, Financial Derivatives,
Capital Structure, Sovereignty Risk, Fiscal and Legal Issues.
Please submit by
January 31, 2008 three copies of a completed or nearly
completed paper to Hacettepe University, Faculty of Administrative Sciences,
06800, Beytepe Campus , Turkey or e-mail a PDF file to
arslan@hacettepe.edu.tr. The title page should include the affiliation,
address, phone and e-mail of each author. All participants agree to serve as
a discussant of a paper of his/her area of interest, if needed. The selected
papers will be published in the special issue of Frontiers in Finance and Economics
