Graduate Programs (Thesis)
Accounting and Finance Masters Program, corcerns with the utmost important strategic decisions for companies such as planning, financing and managing the investments, aims to provide qualified individuals who could match with the high level of standards of the accounting and finance sector, is a master program with thesis which is carried out under the Hacettepe University Social Sciences Institute – Business Administration Department. The courses, midterms, finals, presentations, reports and theses are carried out in Turkish language.
Courses taken during the program such as financial statement analysis, accounting standarts and applications provide theoretical and practical knowledge for accounting; and courses as portfolio management, financial management, investment analysis and banking provide theoretical and practical knowledge for finance. Contents for the aforementioned courses are prepered by professors who follow up and collobrate to the most up-to-date literature. Thereby, our students could keep up with the current developments and could gain proactive perspective towards those developements and could solve real life problems regarding accounting and finance.
Students who are enrolled in the master program must complete at least 60 ECTS credits within two semester and then should prepare the master's thesis under the supervision of consultant.
Graduates of Accounting and Finance Master Program are being promoted to managerial positions in both public and private sector. Moreover, our graduates are currently employed in regulatory boards such as BDDK and SPK.
The aim of Hacettepe University Thesis Master of Marketing Program is to train future researchers and experts who will contribute to international and national literature by bringing an innovative perspective and approach to the field of marketing.

In today's business world, the ability of businesses to survive and compete depends on their adaptability to change. Managers who question, think in many ways, are dynamic, equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills, are forward-thinking, can make strategic decisions, focus on creating, using and sharing information, directing people they work with for common goals, and aiming for continuous development, can manage the change process successfully. It is aimed to provide a level of academic education to the participants with the Master's program in Management, Organizational Behavior and Organizational Behavior so that they can see the businesses through the eyes of managers. At the end of the program, it is aimed to provide the participants with the skills to discuss methods, approaches and models related to business management and organizational behavior, to conduct research in social sciences, and to integrate information about business management with different disciplines.
Business Analytics (Thesis) Master program is one of the newest graduate programs of Hacettepe University, Department of Business Administration. With this new program, we aim at integrating contemporary approaches of quantitative methods to business education, transferring the knowledge of our academics to the students in a more structural way and educating students that can provide quantitative decision support to all functions of businesses. The program offers a road map for students for new trends and technological developments in a business context. The program design consists of a rich pool of must and elective courses focusing on the analytics for different areas of businesses, followed by a dissertation that applies the modelling skills developed during the program courses. The content provides a practical grounding in a variety of methods such as optimization, decision analysis, machine learning, project management and their business applications, helping students to transform themselves into a business of the future. The program content also involves a special focus on to develop or improve software and programming language skills. The graduates of the program gain a potential to work as managers, experts and analysts in public or private institutions.
Production and Operations Management is a master’s degree program with a thesis that is carried out by the Department of Business Administration of Hacettepe University. The medium of instruction for the program is Turkish. Students graduate with a degree of bachelor of art completing their 120 ECTS, which consists of compulsory and elective courses and a master's thesis study. The first two academic terms of education consist of compulsory and elective courses and the last two academic terms consist of thesis writing.
This program is suitable for people who want to specialize in the field of Production and Operations Management. The program is convenient for candidates who not only graduate from the Department of Business Administration, but also graduate from other disciplines. This program reflects the current developments in the field with rich course contents such as, Production and Operations Management, Optimization Methods, Logistics Systems Design and Analysis, Digital Transformation in Production, Technology and Innovation Management, Production and Operations Analysis, Total Quality Management, Demand and Inventory Control, Service Operations Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Sustainability.

Production Management and Quantitative Methods Graduate Programme is a master's program with thesis that is carried out under Hacettepe University Institute of Social Sciences in the Department of Business Administration. The medium of instruction for the program is Turkish, but English sources can also be used. The first two academic terms of education include compulsory and elective courses, last two academic terms include thesis writing. The program consists of theoretical and applied courses such as system selection in production, planning and control in production, inventory management, design and analysis of logistics systems, operations research, mathematical programming, decision theory and advanced statistics. Students who are eligible to graduate from this program can continue their doctoral education.
Production Management and Quantitative Methods is essentially a science that does everything better, higher quality, faster, less cost or more profit. The purpose of this program is to enable the ones who want to specialize in this field to gain competence, to gain the ability to identify and solve problems from a managerial point of view, and to provide the information that will enable them to become managers in the future.
