Hacettepe University Finacial Research Center (HUFRC)
Hacettepe University Financial Reseach Center (HUFRC) began its operations in 1997 by the initiative of the Board of Directors consisting of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the Hacettepe University. The Center primarily serves to provide education and training towards the development of managerial skills of the institutions and undertake mainly financial analysis regarding the capital market and Istanbul Stock Exchange on a sectorial basis. Through the years HUFRC has provided education and training for more than 5000 people and carried on educational programs in a wide range of areas including business management, health-care institution management, portfolio management and human resources management. The common mission of all these programs has been to be support for the firms seeking specialist workforce, promote the application of modern management techniques at every managerial level of the various sectors, to remove the information deficiency and gap of the firms, institutions dealing in the capital market and the investors and to come up with solutions to their poblems. Briefly, the Center aims to contribute to the development of the capital market as a reference institution in the sector.
HUFRC initially commenced its operations in cooperation with Istanbul Stock Exchange and was the first institution apart from Isatnbul in the country to initiate training programs for Istanbul Stock Exchangre Member Representative Assistant, commonly known as “broker”. Hacettepe University Research Center for Business and Professional Ethics
Hacettepe University Research Center for Business and Professional Ethics began its operations in the january of 2001 and it aims to develop business ethics and the social responsibility of the firms in our country. The goal of the Center is to conduct scientific research on business ethics , to promote communication and cooperation between the business world and the academia on the business ethics, thereupon carriying out activities such as panels, congresses, conferences, courses and certificate programs.
The primary operation field of the Center involves providing education and publication, organizing scientific meetings and enhancing cooperation with the business community and acting as the Turkish Branch of European Business Ethics Network (EBEN). In addition, the Center provides training for firms and institutions in various topics under different titles such as “Business and Professional Ethics Certificate Seminar for Enterprises”, “Ethics and Human Resources Certificate Seminar”, “Ethics and Marketing Certificate Seminar”, “Business Management and Ethics Certificate Seminar”, “The Establishmnet of Work and Professional Principles on Sectorial Basis”, “Ethical Issues regarding Health Care Institutions”, “Ethical Issues regarding the Management of Professionals”. “ Consultancy in Ethics”.
